The Connecticut Youth Services Association will hold its annual elections at our Annual Meeting on October 1, 2010. House passes budget mitigation package
Per Jay Aronson, the House passed their budget mitigation package with NO
cuts to YSB funding in either the Enhancement or Formula Grants. While this is good news, things could change before end of session. The other possibility is that changes could occur after the November election. It is anyone's guess. Please continue advocacy with your legislators!

The DCF budget presentation is scheduled for Thursday, February 11th (specific time to be determined). The public budget hearing for DCF and other human service agencies will begin later that afternoon at 4:00 PM in Room 2C of the Legislative Office Building in Hartford.
