ANTI-RACISM AND EQUITY 101
Friday, April 29, 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.
Tuesday, May 3, 2:00-3:30 p.m.
Tuesday, May 17, 6:00-7:30 p.m.
This session will provide participants the opportunity to racialize their voice while building a brave and safe environment to engage in courageous conversations. Participants will be introduced to the Courageous Conversations Compass and will have an opportunity to practice, navigate, and commit to using the Compass. This will give participants the opportunity to listen deeply to better understand each other’s perspective; and to sustain the conversation when it gets uncomfortable or diverted. In this session, we will engage in the Compass in order to sustain and deepen dialogue about race, racial identity and institutional racism. There will be 40 participants max for each workshop offering.resented by SERC
