Tressa Giordano, Eastern Region Chapter Rep

Tressa Giordano is the Director of AHM Youth & Family Services, which serves the towns of Andover, Hebron, Marlborough and Columbia. She has served in this role since 2019 and is honored to lead this non-profit organization which was established in 1983. A graduate of Bay Path College, with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Early Childhood Education, Tressa is able to use her education and experience to bring the AHM staff together to offer a variety of programs and services to this region. Tressa and the staff at AHM continue to provide the community with innovative positive youth and family programming and quality mental health supports that are changing the lives of thousands. Programs and initiatives like “Health Matters” and AHM’s “Here 4 Youth” mental health initiative are just two ways in which Tressa and her staff have responded to their region’s needs. Each day is a new adventure at AHM, and Tressa is honored to be working alongside such amazing co-workers. Serving as Chairperson for the East of the River Hunger Action Team as well as co-chair of the Region 8 Insurance Consortium’s Health & Wellness Committee has created opportunities for collaboration and networking which has benefited the community that AHM serves.

Tressa’s involvement with CYSA has been the source of great support and inspiration. She enjoys serving on the CYSA Professional Development and Advocacy Committees as well as serving as the Eastern Region Chapter Rep.  Providing support to fellow Youth Service Bureau Directors and staff has been extremely rewarding and motivating.

For fun, Tressa enjoys instructing group fitness and youth dance lessons, which she has done for over 15 years, but most of all, she loves spending time with her husband, son and daughter who fill her heart with love, laughter and pride.
